By staying in our 3 ha estate, open from Easter to All Saints’ Day, you will enjoy quality accommodation, in woodland, with kitchen and sanitary facilities, in a preserved and natural setting, with quality services.
Situated in the heart of the most prestigious castles of the Loire Valley, 10 kilometres from the most emblematic, the Château de Chambord, you will be spoilt for choice among the visits, leisure activities nearby and the proposed animations. And on the spot you will be able to take advantage of the covered and heated swimming pool, the hiring of bicycles, the ground of game of bowls, or the sauna. But also keep time to enjoy your terrace in the sun, at aperitif time.
Our camping classified 3 stars, which is part of an environmental and human approach, is labelled Clé Verte (environmental label), Accueil Vélo et Loire à Vélo.
The campsite Les Lodges de Blois Chambord offers you various leisure facilities, including a heated swimming pool covered by a shelter outside the summer or in case of rain. The large terrace will allow you to relax and enjoy the sun of the Loire Valley on your deckchairs. And for the youngest a paddling pool is integrated into the pool.
At the edge of the two nearby ponds, which are entirely fenced off for the safety of your children and accessible through a gate, you can admire the rich biodiversity of the wetlands and with a little luck, see a carp jumping out of the water to catch an insect. For the fishermen, a wooden pontoon is installed at the edge, from where you will be able to tease roach or carp according to your preferences.
The lodges of Blois Chambord, campsite located in the heart of the most majestic Loire castles and close to Blois and the Zooparc de Beauval offer 46 accommodations for all tastes, including many unusual accommodations: chalets, cottages, mobile homes, cabin-lodges on stilts, barrels, floating cabin on one of the two small ponds, bivouac tents for hikers and tourists on the Loire à Vélo. A point common to all accommodation: an all-wooden exterior.
You can stay there for 2 days, 3 days,.. or a week, 15 days,.., as you wish (3 days minimum in summer and 7 days minimum from July 20 to August 20).
Four premium accommodations, the “cottages” are located on the edge of the pond, without vis-à-vis. You will be in the front row to admire from your terrace or through the large bay window the reflections of the sun on the pond, see the bright blue kingfisher watching the little roaches from the branch of a willow, or even surprise you with the strange ballet of dragonflies.
The Château de Chambord, whose construction began in 1519, on the initiative of François I, a young king still at the height of his recent victory at Marignan, is the largest, most prestigious and most visited of the Loire castles. It can be visited all year round like all the greatest castles: Chaumont-sur-Loire, Blois, Chenonceaux, Amboise, le Clos-Lucé, Cheverny (the model of Captain Haddock’s Château de Moulinsart)…
But many “small” castles, each with its own personality, are also open to visit, near the Lodges of Blois Chambord, in a preserved natural environment, most often from Easter to All Saints’ Day: Villesavin, the closest to the Lodges, built by the steward of the castle of Chambord, Beauregard and its magnificent portrait gallery, Chemery, a half-medieval – half-Renaissance castle, Troussay, with one facade François 1er and the other Louis XII, the fortress of Fougères-sur-Bièvre, a fortified castle from the end of the Middle Ages … A total of 80 castles open to visitors are listed in the Loire Valley classified as UNESCO World Heritage Site.
