5 mn walk from the camping Blois-Chambord, by the paths, enjoy the swimming site of Mont-Près-Chambord in a natural setting (paying, open every day in July and August from 9 am to 7 pm and until 8 pm from July 1st to August 15th).
The water is crystal-clear, purified by a natural biological process, without chlorine or chemicals.

Fans of cycling and hiking will be able to indulge their passion through the many trails nearby, including the circuits of the Pays des Châteaux: map of the circuits available at the Reception.
The Lodges are located between two large state-owned forests (the Russy and Boulogne forests totalling 7,400 hectares), criss-crossed by wide paths and trails. Located respectively 500 meters and 1.5 km from the lodges, they offer the opportunity for many walks and bike rides.
In autumn, other pleasures are added, with mushroom picking and then especially the famous “brâme du cerf”, a superb spectacle of Nature when the deer try to conquer the hinds, opposing each other.
From the observatories spread out in the forest of Chambord, an easy observation for all, at sunrise and sunset.
At 5 km from Les Lodges, the base of the Loire Lake at Vineuil will delight canoeing enthusiasts, for a descent of the Loire; another base is located further upstream, at Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire, the port of Chambord.
Also from Saint-Dyé-sur-Loire, the traditional Loire boat l’Hirondelle offers river trips to discover the natural Loire (12 people maximum).
Some weekday evenings in season, you can also discover the local fauna and the beautiful lights on the river on a twilight walk, accompanied by a nature guide. At the rhythm of the boat, the Loire river gently surrenders to you… You can complete your discoveries at the Maison de la Loire, in St Dyé, before returning to the Lodges to savour the colours of the setting sun and admire the Milky Way once the lights are off.
You want to experience a moment of escape? Change your angle of view? Enjoy a suspended moment? Accept to be carried by the winds?
Several service providers offer hot-air balloon flights between Sologne and Touraine to admire the wild Loire Valley, see the castles from above, locate your next sites of visit, perhaps have the chance to take off from Chambord or Chenonceaux, having left your Lodge before sunrise so you don’t miss anything of your day.
