Campsite with swimming pool in Blois

Covered and heated swimming pool in Blois

Don’t forget your swimming costume to enjoy our heated swimming pool, located next to the ponds. You can relax, read on the deckchairs on the terrace, or swim whatever the weather. To protect everyone, we swim in peace and quiet, without jumping or throwing balls. In spring and autumn, the pool is covered by a shelter, heated by a heat pump, and in summer it’s open so you can make the most of the sun and the large flagstone beaches.

For the little ones, a paddling pool is built in at the start of the pool; sitting on the first steps, you can keep a safe eye on them.

Opening times :

9.30am – 7.30pm all season
In July and August: night-time opening until 8.30pm on Saturdays
Pool closed from 30 September 2024 for energy-saving reasons.

A few rules to observe:

Children under 12 or who cannot swim must be accompanied and remain under the responsibility of a parent.

For reasons of hygiene, at the Lodges de Blois Chambord campsite, it is compulsory to remove your shoes before going through the foot bath, leaving them outside, and to take a shower. Bermuda shorts and swimming shorts are forbidden; only swimming costumes are permitted. Very young children must wear special nappies.

Animals are of course prohibited, as are food and drink.

For everyone’s peace and quiet, all bathers must comply with the pool rules: no music, no noisy games. Ball games are only permitted when there is nobody else in the pool, and the ball must also be showered beforehand.

For safety reasons, it is forbidden to jump or dive into the pool, or to push or run onto the terrace.

Paddling pool for the little ones in Blois

For the little ones, there is a paddling pool at the beginning of the pool, 1.50 metres long and 4 metres wide. Suitable games can be borrowed from Reception on request (foam chips, etc.); sitting on the first steps, you can keep a safe eye on them.

As the paddling pool is not separate from the swimming pool, very young children must wear special nappies.

The morning is the best time of day to enjoy the pool with young children in complete peace and quiet.

Relaxation area in Blois with sauna

To relax after a busy day visiting castles or cycling along the paths of the nearby large state forests, small country roads and cycle paths, nothing better than a sauna session.

The Lodges de Blois – Chambord, which can accommodate up to 6 people, is housed in a round wooden barrel near the swimming pool. A cabin at the beginning of the barrel will allow you to undress in the shelter before accessing the sauna area (electric stove with volcanic stones).

And don’t forget to sprinkle the hot stones with the ladle and the pitcher of water at your disposal to create dry steam and raise the temperature.

10 € for a 20 minutes session for 2 people and 2 € for each additional person – We provide you with 1 towel to sit on. Reservation at least half an hour in advance. Open between 4 pm and 7.30 pm.

Not recommended for young children, pregnant women, fragile subjects.
